Neroazzuri ready to strike important bid for Criscito
Sky Sports is reporting about the maneuvers being made by Inter to bring back Domenico Criscito back in Italy. For now it remains just an idea, but the player has definetly been shortlisted by the club. The full-back class of 86, currently playing with Russian side FC Zenit Saint Petersburg is highly praised by coach Roberto Mancini who retains he is the right man for the job.
Unfortunately the transfer has quite a few problematics, because Zenit St. Petersburg is asking for at least £11m cash, meanwhile the Neroazzuri would prefer a solution dedicated to a loan with a future set fee clause.
The deal could be a tad too hefty for the club, even though in the form of payments the club hopes to meet half way with Zenit. The Russian club doesn’t seem to want to let the player go for a discount price, first of all because Criscito is considered a key player, and second because they invested a high amount to bring the Italian left-back to Russia.
Only one element is currently in favor for Inter, the fact “Mimmo” Criscito is desperate to return back to Italy after four years in Russia, but only time will tell.
